John Flanagan, LNHA
Prior to pursuing a career in long term care, John Flanagan was an Air Force Medic with Wright Patterson Air Force Base, a civilian nurse aide and a dialysis technician. After his service to our nation, John graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. He then went on to pursue his Licensure in Nursing Home Administration from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. John has held several roles in the long term care setting including that of Regional Director of Operations and Vice President of Senior Care Operations. For the past twelve years, however, John has served as the Executive Director of Hospitality Center and has had the pleasure of leading the team to three Deficiency Free Surveys by the Ohio Department of Health. During his unprecedented tenure at Hospitality, the community was elevated from a one-star Medicare facility to a pristine five-star ranking by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Resident satisfaction reached an all-time high of 98% and employee to that of 96%. Hospitality Center was the recipient of the American Health Care Association 2011 Bronze Award and Silver in 2012. Due to the supporting efforts of his team, he was later named the Ohio Health Care Association Long Term Care Administrator of the Year in 2011.
